Ginger’s love of all things Coastal is no accident.  She grew up in a seaside town in Mississippi, moved to a coastal town in Maine as an adult, and landed on the Gulf Coast of Southwest Florida, living here with her husband and daughter for 14 years. 

“While I lived on the coast all of my life, each place was very different stylistically.   This gives me a unique design perspective that allows me to better identify with the diverse tastes and backgrounds of each of my clients.”

Ginger initially began offering interior design services to help her husband, a custom home builder whose clients often needed assistance with interior design in their new homes.  Ginger built a loyal following, and her design business blossomed with client referrals.  As a result, interior design became an integral part of her Boutique business.

Ginger loves seeing her clients’ excitement when she translates their concepts, which are often difficult for them to articulate, into a plan that will work in reality.  “Every reaction to the final outcome is different, but so rewarding.  I’ve been hugged, high-fived, I’ve had customers clapping and hollering, and even had several shed some happy tears.  How can it get any better than that?”

Ginger offers full Interior Design services from consultation to full installation, and everything in between.  Our services include assistance with window treatments, wallpaper, painting, indoor rugs, outdoor rugs, indoor upholstery, outdoor upholstery, accessorizing, art, furniture, lighting, decorative pillows, and much more.  We have hundreds of fabric and rug samples and catalogs in Props for the Home from which to choose.

Virginia (Ginger) Bergeron has loved Interior Design since she received her first doll house as a little girl.  While all her friends were playing with their dolls, she remembers changing out the furniture, making window treatments and accessorizing her doll house.

She has come a long way since then, and offers full Interior Design services through Props for the Home, her Coastal Furnishings and Accessories Boutique. Located in Englewood, Florida, "Props" is central to Boca Grande, Venice, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, and Sarasota.
